Rossman Elementary celebrated "Rock Your Socks" and World Down Syndrome Day in support of our amazing friends who make our schools a better, brighter place!

Rossman Elementary PE teachers are ready for World Down Syndrome Day by rocking our socks! 

3rd graders at Rossman Elementary have been loving the clay unit, making their own fish or sea creatures! Each student used their newly gained clay skills, first creating a pinch pot and then using the score and slip method to attach fins, eyes, and more to the body of their clay. They finished their clay with bright paint and a nice glaze spray at the end!

2nd graders at Roosevelt and Rossman Elementary learned about art museums and that art can be found inside and outside of museums! Students learned about 2D versus 3D artwork and how sculptures are usually 3D and can be made from many materials. Each student created their own museum and enjoyed being the "curator" deciding what goes on their walls and where!
